Titanfall Dev Working on New Third Person Action Property Alongside Titanfall 2

Respawn Entertainment’s second project in development alongside Titanfall 2 is a third-person action game.

A job listing posted on Gamasutra has revealed the studio is looking for “designers for two game development projects–a new game in the Titanfall universe as well as a new 3rd person action/adventure IP.”

It continues: “Respawn is seeking a Senior Level Designer to embrace and contribute to the project vision, breathing life into the gameplay world and helping define the moment to moment player experience.”

News that the studio was developing a second game alongsideTitanfall 2 first broke in December 2014, when studio co-founder Vince Zampella said “there is a second team [at Respawn]. Non-Titanfall related.”

Destiny Bug That Blocks Progress Discovered in Latest Weekly Nightfall [UPDATE]

Destiny’s new Nightfall Strike is running into some issues–and Bungie is on the case.

Reports on the Destiny sub-Reddit indicate that there is a bug in the latest Nightfall Strike–Sunless Cell–that prevents a certain door from opening. The door must open for players to advance to a final showdown against the Darkblade boss, meaning the Strike is effectively broken (via VG247).

According to one Redditor, enemies fail to spawn during first half of the Sunless Cell Nightfall. The bigger problem, however, is that the door to the boss battle won’t open. “Tried a wipe, but still nothing,” RumorsOFsurF wrote.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Play Arts Kai Figures Revealed

Square Enix is wasting no time in expanding its Play Arts Kai line with new figures based on the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Prototypes of two new Play Arts Kai figures–Cloud and Barret each get one–were on display this weekend at Japan’s annual Jump Festa event. You can see how they look in the images above, which come courtesy of foreign site NonSoloHobby’sFacebook page (via Toyark, Game Informer).

We don’t yet know when these figures are coming, how much they will cost, or if these are the only two Final Fantasy VII Remake characters that Square Enix plans on creating figures of.

GTA 5’s Holiday Event Has Christmas Trees, Masks, Car Horns, and More

Rockstar today announced the details of Grand Theft Auto V’s holiday-themed event, which kicks off today and runs for the next few weeks.

Grand Theft Auto Online players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC will now find Christmas trees at Legion Square and in any apartments, stilt houses, and yachts (a recent addition) they own.

Additionally, there are a bunch of new free customization options to be found in the game. That includes the masks pictured below (including Santa, Mrs. Claus, Crazy Gingerbread, Festive Luchador, and Bad Elf), three “Christmas-themed” car horns, Santa outfits, and a collection of pajamas.
